Raw Amethyst Knotted Necklace (CG75)
These are lovely raw amethyst stones (around 2cm - 2.5cm long) simply knotted between each one. Because they are raw they have not been cut or polished - they have simply had holes drilled through them.
Knotting (on doubled purple nylon thread for durability) gives the necklace a lovely drape. At 20" (51.5cm) long you can team it with a wide variety of outfits. Some ladies absolutely adore amethyst (it is the birthstone for those with February birthdays). I am one of them but never wear any shade of purple as it just doesn't suit me sadly.
The necklace fastens with a Karen Hill Tribe silver (purer than sterling) toggle clasp which so many of find much easier to do up - they are stronger too - with little sterling silver beads either side.
