Chrysocolla Pebbles with Matt Black Onyx Knotted Necklace (LS115)
This is a chunky necklace with huge chrysocolla pebbles (averaging at around 2.5cm x 2cm) with 8mm round matt black onyx beads knotted between. I've used a strong nylon thread, doubled, to knot between all of the beads which makes it very secure, as well as giving it a lovely drape.
The colours in the chrysocolla are beautiful - sea greens swirling with turquoise to give an overall greeny/blue teal effect.
This would look fabulous over a black or charcoal polo neck - or equally as nice with bottle green, any shade of blue or one of the warmer colours - mustard, burnt orange or cream.
The necklace is 24" (64cm) long and fastens with a Karen Hill Tribe silver (higher content of pure silver than sterling) hook and eye clasp and all other silver is sterling.
