Tanzanite is only found in one place in the world - Tanzania in Africa. It was not discovered until the 1960's and is prized for its lovely bluey purple colour.

This little drop of loveliness is hand wrapped in sterling silver, with a tiny sterling bead placed within a little curlicue, just off centre. Tanzanite is a delicate stone and care needs to be taken not to drop it.

Tanzanite is for those born in December.

The necklace is 17" (432mm)long and finished with a sterling silver clasp.
