Silvery Moon Necklace (BLBN02)
By the light of the silvery moon... This is very much a statement necklace and the statement you are making is: "How fabulous is this?"
I used two sizes of seed beads in two different moonlike/silver colours and finishes in herringbone stitch that curves one way then the other, with little Czech glass moon beads nestling in each curve.
The pendant is a moon bead stitched around in brick stitch with three glass crystal moonbeams falling from it. The necklace fastens with a beaded toggle clasp, although at 25"/645mm the necklace is long enough to put on without undoing the clasp.
I thoroughly enjoyed designing and making this!
For special occasions - especially when they fall on a full moon!
