Most jaspers have a landscape appearance to them but this one, sesame jasper with grey and black speckles, puts me in mind of melting snow on the fields. Or a robin's egg - the blue of stone is very much the same blue as a robin's egg.

I've teamed the round and oval sesame jasper stones with labradorite rondelles, to bring out the greys in the jasper. Each of the oval beads is framed with tiny sterling silver spacers to help the drape and the necklace is finished with an elegant sterling silver hook clasp.

This is a longer length necklace - 21.5" (546mm) and can easily be worn over a jumper for when meeting friends for coffee on a cold spring morning.
