Rose red rhodocrosite is found in the Americas and these stones were probably mined in Argentina. Rhodoscrosite is the official gemstone of Colerado in the US.

Here I've put flat ovals of deeper banded pink rhodocrosite with rounded ovals of a chalky pink rhodocrosite, each spaced with Bali sterling silver.

The hook and eye clasp is also Bali sterling silver.

The matching earrings (which have tiny Bali sterling silver beads on sterling silver earwires) are a lovely accompaniment to this necklace which is just right for summer.

The necklace is 17" (432mm) long.
