Picture Jasper tubes and rounds necklace (D09)

The large (14mm) round picture jasper beads have been teamed with the same stone in tubular form to interesting effect. At the front I have placed sterling silver beads to help the jaspers sit well together. It is finished with a simple sterling silver hook and eye clasp.

Jasper is a form of quartz, although it is non-crystalline (ie, it isn't formed by crystals, unlike so many quartzes) and is considered a balancing stone, encouraging the wearer to be honest with themselves. Picture jasper is said to help with the immune system and alleviate kidney problems. (But it is not a kidney stone!).

Necklace length is 22" (559mm).
