New Jade and Amethyst (LF04)
These lantern shaped beads in new jade, with natural lime green and lavendar patterning (although I suspect that these have been dyed to enhance the natural colouring), are interspersed with abacus shaped light amethyst to create a very wearable and summery necklace that will complement any summer outfit.
New jade is a form of bowentite serpentine, a relative of Connemara marble. It is relatively soft so care needs to be taken not to damage the stones.
Serpentine is used in meditation to direct energies to aid healing.
The necklace length is 18" (457mm)and fastened with a sterling silver twisted toggle clasp.
