This lovely mookaite necklace is interspaced with small round red jasper beads, with the brick red of the jasper the perfect setting for the rich earthy tones of the mookaite. Mookaite itself, found in Australia, is a form of jasper and is said to be an Aboriginal healing stone.

Red jasper is supposed to be very lucky for actors and jasper generally is said to protect the wearer against emotional stress. So this necklace would be good for those first night nerves!

Personally these lovely stones remind me of the patchwork of colours we find in our East Anglian fields.

The necklace is 17.5" (444mm) long and is finished with a gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) hook clasp. The mookaite beads are 10mm in diameter.
