Magenta Magic - Beaded Cabochon on Beaded Rope (BW23)
This pendant is an intense deep shade of magenta. I'm not sure what the stone is - it could be dyed quartz.
I've beaded around it in complementary colours using Japanese delica beads (the best!) and created a rope in the same beads in cubic right angle weave. The toggle clasp echoes the colours and design.
I was thrilled to find delicas in the exact same shade as the stone and teamed them with a blue teal - almost kingfisher and a paler lilac.
The necklace is 18" (465mm) long.
Perfect for that shot of pure colour! Fabulous against a fine knit grey.
