Lime Flower Beadwork Necklace (BB120)
The focal point of this necklace is a beautiful handmade lampwork bead made by Sally-Jo Drinkel of Fanello Design.
I was originally going to do something fancy around it but abandoned that idea as it detracted too much from the flower. So I went with a simpler design and I'm glad I did as the result is a very wearable necklace.
It is 19" (480mm) long and fastens with a beadwork toggle clasp. The entire necklace is glass - the glass lampwork flower and lots and lots of tiny glass seed beads, worked in circular peyote stitch and embellished slightly near the flower.
Lime green is a fantastic colour - you can wear it with darker shades of green, most neutrals and it looks absolutely stunning with navy blue!
