Ametrine and Amethyst Chunky Necklace (CG15)

Massive chunks of roughly facetted ametrine, each framed with a little sterling silver button bead are knotted onto pure purple silk cord with smooth amethyst button beads.

Ametrine is a mix of amethyst and citrine although these chunks are primarly amethyst. I think they are gorgeous, so natural, as if they have barely had anything done to them since they came out of the ground, just cut, shaped and drilled.

Yet this is not a bohemian necklace. It is fine enough to wear to a wedding - can you imagine it with a purple silk outfit? Or with a grey cashmere jumper? Lovely.

The necklace is 21" (545mm) long and fastens with a textured sterling silver toggle clasp.
