These beautiful shards of amethyst (described as dog's tooth amethyst by my supplier)are arrnged between tiny round amethyst beads in a dramatic arrangement. The long amethyst beads all have fascinating markings on them with the the colours in each stone ranging from the lightest violet to the deepest purple, making this a truly unique necklace.

The stones for the matching earrings have been chosen for their similarity to each other and are on sterling silver ear posts with butterfly backs.

Amethyst is said to relieve headaches and tension and is regarded as a very spiritual stone. It is one of my favourite quartzes.

The necklace is 17.5" (457mm) long and fastens with an elegant sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
