"Souk" Turquoise and Berber Silver bracelet (BH14)

The silver used in this bracelet is handmade by Moroccan craftsmen to imitate the ancient silver beads used by the Berber tribe using base silver-coloured metals rather than real silver. It goes particularly well with the lovely turquoise rondelle beads. Turquoise is often stabilised with resin to make it more durable and dyed to bring out the gorgeous turquoise colour we all love. This is a perfectly acceptible practice for turquoise and most turquoise jewellery we buy today has has been treated in this way.

The clasp is sterling silver, as are all the findings.

The Berber silver beads are placed with turquoise rondells making this a very stylish little bracelet.

The bracelet is 18" long.
