"Mint Julep" Amazonite and Fluorite Necklace (LS12)

Opaque nuggets of amazonite are teamed with larger translucent fluorite nuggets, all interspersed with sterling silver beads.

Depending on the light, sometimes the fluorite looks green, sometimes blue while the amazonite is a delicious minty blue colour. Although similar, all of the stones are different as they are all natural stones cut into lovely smooth nuggets. I could gaze at them for hours, marvelling at the beauty of their markings, just as one gazes for hours at the changing shapes of the clouds.

Amazonite is said to be a calming stone and one that helps you see both sides of a problem whilst fluorite is supposed to help to overcome feelings of chaos and to be a good stone for tackling new concepts and studying. This would be a good necklace to wear for tackling new projects - or taking an exam!

The necklace is 17" long (432mm)and it is finished with an elegant hook clasp.
